Leonhardi Traditional Weekend

Leonhardi is a regional holiday in the Isarwinkel around 6 November, when horses and carts are blessed according to ancient tradition. In Bad Tölz, with the special backdrop of the Isar, Marktstraße and Kalvarienberg, as well as around 80 festively decorated churn wagons / four-in-hand carts making their way to the chapel on the mountain. The participants are all dressed in festive traditional costumes and complement this unique expression of faith and lived customs.
